Eric Jeppson, a founder of Hunt Jeppson & Griffin, LLP holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law after graduating from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and a minor in Business Management. While in law school he served two years on the Oregon Law Review, one as a Managing Board Member. He also was an Officer of the Law and Entrepreneurship Student Association which sparked his desire to eventually own his own law firm. After gaining experience at two of the region’s largest firms, he went out on his own. Two years later, Mr. Jeppson joined forces with Mr. Hunt to form Hunt Jeppson & Griffin, LLP.
Mr. Jeppson’s practice emphasizes property, construction, and commercial issues, including real estate, business litigation, zoning and entitlements, and public contract law. He represents developers, businesses and investors, general contractors, subcontractors, property owners, counties, small business owners, cities, and joint power authorities.
With his experience in both transactional and litigation matters, Mr. Jeppson excels in achieving positive outcomes for his clients faced with litigation by guiding them through the complexities and overcoming opposition. In transactional matters, he helps his clients succeed by “making the deal” rather than “breaking the deal.”
Mr. Jeppson belongs to the State Bar of California, Sacramento County Bar Association, and Placer County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of California and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California.
